Joel Adeline

I am extremely excited and fortunate to begin my professional teaching careet at Mintz Christian Academy. God called me to be an educator in a Christian school so that I could assist Him in helping students discover the message of God's plan for them and come to know the Love of His Son on a daily basis and in every subject we study together. I am from Mount Vernon, Washington and attended both public and Christian schools. Attending a Christian school changed my life. At a Christian school, I was able to see strong Christians (teachers and classmates) living out their faith everyday. Upon graduation from high school, I went to Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. I studied Elementary Education at this fine institution and was trained very well. I met my fiance Cali at Grove City College and we are getting married on January 1st. She is excited about coming to live in Sampson County. I have many interests. I love to play and coach soccer, watch college football and college basketball, read, watch movies and have also taken a keen interest in fishing. God is doing great things here at Mintz and I feel privileged to be part of His work and His plan and having the opportunity to partner with quality parents and a quality staff in the great endeavor of educating God's children.

Mintz Christian Academy 2-3

My name is Winnie Gray White. I have been teaching for the past 12 years. I have taught everything from Kindergarten to college. This year, I am teaching a combination class of second and third grade. I'm so happy to be at Mintz Christian Academy. I grew up in Greenville, NC. I graduated from Greenville Christian Academy. I went on to get a BS degree in elementary education. My senior year at ECU, I fell in love with educational technology. I went back and got my master's in educational technology. I have always loved computers and enjoyed the challenge of figuring out software and using it to help make life easier. My favorite subject in school is poetry. You should hear the children in my class quote poems. It is what I look forward to each day. I also love Bible. That's why I chose to teach at a Christian school and to send my children to a Christian school. Being able to talk about Jesus and share His deep truths with others, gives me purpose in teaching. I'm so thankful that God opened the door for me to be here. I pray that He teaches me all this year how to grow closer to Him and how to show my student's just how wonderful He is. My favorite verse in the Bible is James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. Jesus definitely is my Master Teacher. He models for me how to treat my students. I pray that He will be pleased with me this year and with my students.
