Winnie White

My name is Winnie Gray White. I have been teaching for the past 13 years. I have taught everything from Kindergarten to college. This year, I am teaching third grade. In the afternoon, third and fourth grade joins together for special classes, science, creative writing and Bible.  I grew up in Greenville, NC. I graduated from Greenville Christian Academy. I went on to get a BS degree in elementary education. My senior year at ECU, I fell in love with educational technology. I went back and got my master's in educational technology. I have always loved computers and enjoyed the challenge of figuring out software and using it to help make life easier. My favorite subject in school is poetry. You should hear the children in my class quote poems. It is what I look forward to each day. I also love Bible. That's why I chose to teach at a Christian school and to send my children to a Christian school. Being able to talk about Jesus and share His deep truths with others, gives me purpose in teaching. I'm so thankful that God opened the door for me to be here. I pray that He teaches me all this year how to grow closer to Him and how to show my student's just how wonderful He is. My favorite verse in the Bible is James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. Jesus definitely is my Master Teacher. He models for me how to treat my students. I pray that He will be pleased with me this year and with my students.

Ann Warren

My name is Ann Warren. I grew up in the Mingo community of Sampson County. I graduated from Midway High School. I have taught everything from first grade through sixth grade. In the mornings here at MCA, I teach fourth
grade core subjects. My favorite subject in school is reading. It is what I look forward to each day. I also love Bible. I get to teach Bible to third and fourth graders on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

My life verse - John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes on Him will have everlasting life."

Jennifer Oliver
